St. Croix Landings

This section is the St. Croix River between the Gordon Dam and the dam at St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. This stretch of the river is mostly wild country. There are a few bridges and rustic boat landings. Not much else. After escaping from the dam, the river flows west for a bit, then flows southwest for most of this section. It turns to the south, then southeast before reaching the dam at St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

Like it! Yes—the way I'd like a hot stove if I was to set on it long enough. No, Tom, I won't be rich, and I won't live in them cussed smothery houses. I like the woods, and the river, and hogsheads, and I'll stick to 'em, too.
