Stormy Weather—Part 1 is a collection of photos I shot during a blizzard. Stormy Weather—Part 2 is about the Etta James song Stormy Weather.

I took these photos at Crex Meadows State Wildlife Area near Grantsburg, Wisconsin. It was snowy, windy, and cold. I sheepishly admit that I took some of the photos from inside the warmth of my car; I wasn’t up to facing the bitter wind. I kept snowflakes off my lens by shooting from the car. I saw no beings except a man and his five hunting dogs. He carried one whistle for each dog on lanyards around his neck. I braved the wind to say hello and check out the friendly dogs. All I heard for the rest of the day was the blizzard winds.

I wanted to show what Crex Meadows is like during a blizzard. I hope I succeeded.
