Shooting the Sun
Smoke Plume From a Grass Fire
I’ve recently done a lot of shooting into the sun; pointing my camera directly at the sun. This is possible only under certain conditions, when you can look at the sun without burning your eyeballs to cinders. The photo to the right was shot through the smoke from a nearby grass fire. The first photo below was shot with the sun filtered through the leaves and branches of a tree. The other photos below were shot with the sun blocked by clouds.
