Swallowtail Country Again
I returned to the small, fallow farm field that I visited the week before last. Again, a Canadian Tiger Swallowtail was flitting about, feeding on the wild bee balm. I had to shoot more pictures. But this time, my focus was on hedge bindweed flowers. These are gorgeous wildflowers, white tinged with pink, that I once thought were wild morning glories. A few days later at another spot, the hedge bindweeds were again the point of focus.

Song Of the Month
This is a song from 2023. I found it last week. The song is Bad Memory. It was written and sung by Emily King, with Norah Jones contributing vocals and piano. It is a gorgeous song. It’s also a melancholy song: “I’m drowning in regret.” Just that short four-word phrase had me drowning. Here’s a video of Emily and Norah.
