Enchanted Glade
Speaking of mushrooms. I discovered a small glade on Thursday. The glade was small, perhaps 20 feet square. There were several species of small mushrooms. The glade was sandwiched between marsh grasses and a small, hardwood forest of birch and aspen. The plants in the glade were all low-growing, just a few inches off the ground. I don’t know what the other plants were; perhaps mosses or lichen. The mushrooms were nestled among these other plants. It was a beautiful, unique, hidden little glade.
