Bloodroot - My First Of 2023
Yesterday I saw my first wildflower of 2023 and my first rainbow. I shot the wildflower close up while laying flat on my stomach, the only way I could get near enough to the flower. I took other close-ups, also on my stomach or knees.
I shot the rainbow from far away. Besides the rainbow, the Mississippi and the bluffs in Minnesota and Wisconsin are in the photo. The sky was dramatic and constantly changing yesterday; dark clouds, white clouds, gray clouds, far-away shafts of rain, and blue sky were all part of the show.
