Recent Bird Photography
Here are some bird photos I shot in the last two weeks. One is of a cardinal in a tree on the grounds of my complex. I stepped out the door, camera in hand, and within ten yards saw the cardinal fly into the tree. Other shots are from the Crex Meadows State Wildlife Area near Grantsburg, Wisconsin and the George Meade State Wildlife Area, near Stevens Point, Wisconsin. I visited the George Meade SWA for the first time and loved the area; lots of water, birds, and places to walk. Unfortunately, it is just a bit too far away for a day trip.
