I’ve been shooting skyscapes and sunsets for the last year and more. I started thinking that many of my recent images were beginning to look routine; nothing new. It’s true, some have been, but not all.

The images that aren’t routine still emphasize the sky but also include details other than the sky. The first photo below is a fine shot that I should be pleased with. I’m not because I’ve done too many other, similar shots.

The second photo is not as dramatic but is unique. I made it my own by including the two girls engaged in a photo shoot. I thought a bit more and realized that I have a decent collection of skyscapes in which I’ve included unique details. Some examples are in the gallery below.
